Managing Director
Jon joined Brentwood in 2011 and focuses on the Consumer sector. He serves as a Director of Pacific Catch and Upward Projects and is also active in the corporate development efforts of Lazy Dog Restaurants, L-Nutra, Snooze, and Veggie Grill. Jon was also active in the corporate development efforts and sale of Allen Edmonds, J.McLaughlin, Pacific Island Restaurants, SAXX Underwear, and Spectrum Clubs, and the corporate development efforts and initial public offering for Zoës Kitchen (NYSE: ZOES).
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a dual bachelor’s degree in finance and legal studies from the Wharton School of Business.
Ryan joined Brentwood Associates in 2011 and focuses on the Consumer sector. He currently serves as a Director of Jefferson Dental and Orthodontics, and previously served as Director of MD Now. He was also active in the corporate development efforts of Marshal Retail Group, Soft Surroundings, Sundance Holding Company, Lazy Dog Restaurants, and Pacific Catch.
He graduated from UC Berkeley where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business and a master’s degree in education from the Graduate School of Education.
Chris joined Brentwood in 2007 and focuses on the Business Services sector. Presently, he serves as a Director of Afterburn Holdings, MedBridge, Parchment, and Service Management Group. He is also active in the corporate development efforts of Class Wallet. Earlier in his Brentwood career, Chris was active in Consumer Services, and supported the corporate development efforts of Allen Edmonds, Blaze Pizza, Boston Proper, Excelligence Learning Corp., Exhale Enterprises, K-Mac Holdings, Sundance Holding Company, The Teaching Company and ThreeSixty Group.
He graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Toros joined Brentwood in 2004 and leads the firm’s Capital Markets effort, including structured investment opportunities and debt financing needs across the portfolio. He serves as a Director of Watermill Express and is also active in the corporate development efforts of Boston Proper, Excelligence Learning Corp., KeyMe, Soft Surroundings and The Great Courses. Toros was also active in the corporate development efforts and sale of Array Marketing Group, Chamilia, Filson Holdings, Paper Source, Sundance Holding Company and Wiland.
He graduated cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business economics.
Principal
Rachel joined Brentwood in 2016 and focuses on the Consumer sector. She currently serves as a Director of J.McLaughlin and Upward Projects. She is also active in the corporate development efforts of Blaze Pizza, Chicken Salad Chick and Watermill Express. Rachel was previously active in the corporate development efforts of Afterburn Holdings, Allen Edmonds, Boston Proper, Soft Surroundings and Sundance Holding Company.
Rachel received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, in 2008 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2014.
Vice President
Peter joined Brentwood in 2015 and is currently active in the corporate development efforts of Blaze Pizza, Hims & Hers, Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics, MedBridge, and The Teaching Company. Peter was also active in the corporate development of Marshall Retail Group, Pacific Catch, and SAXX Underwear.
He graduated from Harvard University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a secondary in economics.
Chris joined Brentwood in 2019 and is currently active in the corporate development efforts of Boston Proper, J.McLaughlin, Pacific Catch, Snooze, and Soft Surroundings. Chris was also active in the corporate development of MD Now.
Chris received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University, magna cum laude, in 2013 and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business in 2019.
