Marshall Retail Group (MRG) has launched new wellness and sustainability concept The Well in Terminal A at Sacramento International Airport (SMF).
The 325sq m space combines environmentally friendly products and distinctive gifts from Northern California. MRG’s significant growth in the specialty retail category is largely attributed to the company’s focus on creating local partnerships with brands that prioritise sustainability and CSR.
The Well specialises in products from local artisans, and also features a self-serve Water Bar
“The Well connects travellers at SMF to exceptional taste experiences offered by Northern California’s most loved and well-known artisans,” said MRG CEO Michael C. Wilkins. “MRG is proud to bring a local flavour into the airport environment enriching the traveller’s journey.”
The focal point of The Well is the self-serve Water Bar. Emerging drinkware companies que and CAUS offer stylish alternatives to disposable bottles while promoting positive change in the community through non-profit support and environmental awareness.
In addition to men’s, women’s, and children’s gifts, The Well features an assortment of gourmet foods from local artisans including Ashby Confections, Bert’s Bites, Le Grand, LA-based Compartes, and Napa Valley’s Woodhouse.
